You've spent years building the life you wanted. Now it's time to enjoy living it.
We spend so much of our lives thinking about what needs to happen next.
The next deadline. The next responsibility. The next goal. The next problem to solve.
But how often do we stop and ask a much simpler question? What matters?
The Stoic Swedish Way is a six-week private coaching experience designed to help you step away from the noise, reconsider where you're putting your time and energy, and become more intentional about how you want to live.
It brings together two philosophies that have shaped my own work and life: ancient Stoicism and the Swedish philosophy of lagom.
Stoicism teaches us to distinguish between what we can and cannot control, choose our response to life's challenges, develop character, and focus our energy where it can actually make a difference.
Lagom, the Swedish philosophy of “just enough”, asks us to consider something different: When is enough actually enough?
Enough work.
Enough achievement.
Enough responsibility.
Enough striving.
But also:
Enough rest.
Enough connection.
Enough joy.
Enough time spent actually living.
Together, Stoicism and lagom give us a practical framework for answering one of life's most important questions: What matters? And once you know the answer, you can begin building your life around it.
The Stoic Swedish Way isn't about walking away from your career, responsibilities, goals, or ambitions.
It's about making sure they aren't consuming the very life you're working so hard to build.
You can be driven and still have balance.
You can pursue meaningful goals without tying your happiness to their outcomes.
You can care deeply without trying to control everything.
You can accomplish things while still appreciating what you already have.
And you can learn to recognize when something is enough.
Throughout our six weeks together, we'll continually return to:
What matters?
What deserves your energy?
What is actually within your control?
What are you holding onto that you need to release?
What expectations are shaping your life?
What does enough look like for you?
What kind of person do you want to be?
What are you postponing while waiting for life to settle down?
And ultimately: Are the way you spend your time and the way you live your life consistent with what you say matters most?
You've worked hard to build a good life. But are you actually enjoying it?
The Stoic Swedish Way is designed for motivated, capable, and often successful adults who spend so much time managing responsibilities, meeting expectations, and working toward the next goal that they sometimes forget to enjoy the life they've built.
Perhaps you're a professional, business owner, leader, parent, or simply someone who has always believed that working harder, accomplishing more, and staying busy are the keys to a fulfilling life.
But somewhere along the way, you may have started questioning whether more is always better.
The Stoic Swedish Way isn't about giving up ambition, abandoning responsibilities, or completely reinventing yourself.
It's about learning to approach life differently.
Through Stoic philosophy and the Swedish concept of lagom, you'll explore how to focus on what you can control, recognize when enough is enough, make choices that reflect your values, and appreciate the everyday experiences that make life meaningful.
This experience is for people who are willing to reflect, challenge old habits, and take an active role in how they choose to live.
You don't necessarily need a different life. You may simply need a different way of living it.
What matters?
And perhaps more importantly, are you living according to your answer?
Each week of The Stoic Swedish Way builds on the one before it, helping you move from simply thinking about what matters to intentionally living according to it.
We begin with you. Where are you right now? What feels good about your life, and what feels out of balance? We'll look at your priorities, responsibilities, values, and expectations and begin defining what a good life means to you, not to anyone else.
One of Stoicism's most important lessons is learning to distinguish between what is within our control and what is not. We'll identify where you're spending unnecessary energy on outcomes, circumstances, expectations, and other people's thoughts or behaviors—and begin redirecting that energy toward what you can actually influence.
We don't always get to choose what happens, but we have far more influence over how we interpret and respond to it. This week focuses on perspective, expectations, reactions, and learning to approach life's challenges with greater intention.
Enter lagom: the Swedish philosophy of “just enough.” We'll look at work, achievement, commitments, responsibilities, relationships, possessions, rest, and expectations. Where is there too much? Where isn't there enough? And what would greater balance actually look like in your life?
Life cannot be only about responsibilities and accomplishments. We'll explore rest, nature, connection, fika, gratitude, play, simple pleasures, and becoming more present for the ordinary moments that make up most of our lives.
We bring everything together. You'll identify the principles, boundaries, priorities, and practices you want to carry forward and create your personalized Stoic Swedish Life Plan.
The goal isn't to finish six weeks with another list of things you need to do.
It's to leave with a clearer understanding of what deserves your time, attention, and energy, and what doesn't.

For more than 20 years, I've helped people navigate life's challenges, gain perspective, and make meaningful changes in their lives. As a licensed clinical mental health counselor, author, and coach, I've spent much of my career exploring what it means not simply to feel better, but to live better.
My passion for Stoic philosophy and my Swedish heritage inspired me to develop The Stoic Swedish Way, an approach that brings together the wisdom of Stoicism and the Swedish philosophy of lagom, finding balance in just enough.
I created this six-week coaching experience to help people move beyond constantly striving, achieving, and planning for what's next and begin focusing on what actually matters.
Because a good life isn't just about what you accomplish. It's about how you live.

We invest so much of our time, energy, and resources into our careers, families, responsibilities, and future goals. But how often do we invest in learning how to better enjoy the life we're already living?
The Stoic Swedish Way is an opportunity to do just that.
Over six weeks, you'll step away from the constant demands of everyday life to reflect on what matters, reconsider where you're spending your energy, and develop a more intentional approach to living.
